Cyber Safety Awareness Campaign.
Respected Sir/Madam, As we know, incidents of cheating, fraud, Cyber stalking, Creation of malicious profiles etc. are on the rise in cyber space. It is observed that school going children are vulnerable to such crimes. It is therefore necessary to create awareness among children about various cyber crimes. It will help in avoiding/preventing many incidents of cyber crimes in future. Mumbai Police in association with Google Inc. Ltd. has decided to organize Cyber Crime Awareness Campaign during February & March, 2008. Our team will visit various schools including vernacular language schools and meet parents, teachers and students. Teams will deliver lectures along with power point presentation about Cyber Awareness. Question & Answer session will follow the lecture. Time spent by our team in each school will be about an hour. We invite your esteemed school to participate in Cyber Safety Awareness Campaign. Venue, date and timings can be fixed with mutual consent.
